About Me

I grew up on Balboa Island, where my childhood was spent rollerblading down Marine Avenue, searching for crabs at Crab Corner, and taking the ferry to the Fun Zone. The salty ocean air, warm summer evenings, and the rhythm of island life became the foundation of what I now recognize as my first experience with mindfulness. To this day, the smell of the ocean instantly brings me back to a place of peace, family, and belonging. It has always been my happy place.

At 26, my life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with ADHD, anxiety, and depression. Like many people searching for relief, I began trying different medications. While they helped in some ways, they also brought difficult side effects that left me feeling disconnected from myself. I felt overwhelmed, uncertain, and alone, wondering if I would ever feel like myself again.

Everything changed when my best friend invited me on a trip to Bali. As someone who struggled with anxiety, traveling halfway around the world felt impossible. She promised it would be a healing experience, and despite my fears, I said yes. I had no idea that one decision would completely transform my life.

In Bali, yoga is woven into everyday life. Just as surfing is part of the culture in Newport Beach, yoga is a daily ritual that brings people together. It is more than movement or exercise—it's a practice of presence, gratitude, self-awareness, and connection. Watching people of all ages gather to move, breathe, and simply be inspired me in a way I had never experienced before.

Whether you're stepping onto a yoga mat for the first time or have been practicing for years, my goal is to create a welcoming space where you feel supported, encouraged, and free to show up exactly as you are. I believe yoga is for every body, every season of life, and every stage of your journey.

My classes are rooted in mindful movement, intentional breathwork, and the belief that yoga is not about how a pose looks—it's about how it feels. Together, we'll build strength, improve mobility, calm the nervous system, and create moments of stillness in a world that rarely slows down.
